Brexit & EU Customers
The UK officialy left the Europen Union on the 31st December 2020, whilst a trade agreement has been agreed there has been disruptions and delays on orders to EU countries.
Bobble Babies continue to trade as normal with all orders being processed and dispacthed from our UK warehouse.
Currently, clothing and footwear for babies and children is VAT exempt in the UK and although a trade deal was negotiated with the EU and UK, some orders to EU countries will now incur additional charges.
All orders to the EU are shipped Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU) and so orders shipped outside of the UK may be subject to custom taxes and/or duties. This means it is the responsbility of the customer to pay any Import VAT and Import Duty due on receipt of their goods. We recommend that all customers outside the UK to check your local governments rules regarding customs tax and duties costs as these must be paid before the goods are released.
If any applicable taxes/duties are not paid, and you (the customer) refuse to accept delivery causing the goods to be returned to us, then you will have to pay the courier and any duty costs out of any refund we make to you.
